It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Grover Cannady of Baconton, Georgia, born in Martin, Tennessee, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Franklin Grover and Violet Boynton Grover; and her half-brother Charles Grover. She is survived by: her husband John Cannady of Baconton; her children, Fran Murphy (Bill) of Concord, Patty Woods (Eric) of Morganton, Sarah Casterline (Roman) of Doerun, John Cannady, Jr. (Leigh Ann) of Cumming and Stephen Cannady (Jordan) of Leesburg; and her grandchildren, Christopher Odum, Kayla Hardy, Cole Murphy, Amanda Sprecher, Joshua Woods, Jeremy Woods, Jay Woods, Emily Woods, Tommy Cannady, Jack Cannady, Will McIlvan, Sam McIlvan, Grayson Cannady, Hayden Cannady, Jackson Casterline and Elizabeth Casterline. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
