She was predeceased by: her father Phil Smith; her grandparents, George "Smitty" and Sally "Gram" Smith; her uncle Jim Smith of Montana; her grandparents, Oscar and Evelyn Parker of Barney, GA; and her stepfather Gordon Varnadoe.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Pinson of Baconton; her sons, Stone Pinson of Baconton and Smith Pinson of Baconton; her mother Mary Varnadoe of Baconton; her brother Ronnie Smith (Lynn) of Valdosta; her half-sisters, Georgia Smith of Tennessee and Emily Gauf (Chuck) of Montana; her stepsiblings, B. J. Cook (Jack) of Jacksonville, FL, Jackie Mikosky (Pat) of Texas, Pam Bouldin (Chris) of Texas and Victor Varnadoe (Kim) of Leesburg; and her friend Judy Kearns. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
