She is survived by: her daughter Debra Jenkins Simpson of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida; her granddaughters, Miriam MaKeba Simpson of Albany, Georgia and Jamila White of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida; her sister Pearl Brown of Camden; and her great grandchild Chase Monroe White. She is also survived by nieces and nephews whom she considered her own children.
