He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mizell, Sr. and Sara Crosby Mizell; his son Faron Mizell; and his siblings, Beulah Mae "Tookie" Adams and James Olin "Coon" Mizell.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jewell Mizell of Axson; his son Wesley Mizell (Teresa) of Axson; his siblings, J. D. "Duck" Mizell (Reba) of Axson and Madeline "Bat" Dillingham (Glenn) of Willacoochee; his sister-in-law Catherine Mizell of Axson; and his daughter-in-law Betty Ann Mizell of Axson. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
