Johnny E. Taft Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny E. Taft of Axson, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Johnny may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Johnny touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Taft and Seatie Smith Taft (Catherine Tracy Taft); and his sons, William and Robert Taft. He is survived by: his daughter Shermilee Taylor (Ben) of Axson. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.
