He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joel Palmer and Dura Alice King Johnson; his wife Joann Faircloth Johnson of Axson; his children, Perry Johnson (Lucinda) of Axson and Zara Johnson of Waycross; and his sister Jolene Dickerson of Dahlonega. He was also cherished by 5 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
