He was predeceased by: his parents, DW Pope and Annie Lee Harrell Pope; his brother Harrell Dewitt Pope; and his grandson Cody Brice Pope. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gillis Pope of Axson; his children, William Pope (Loye) of Douglas and Audrey Ponsell (Tommy) of Axson; and his siblings, Mellie Sue Spellman (Skip) of Buckhead and Jerry Pope (Ellen) of Douglas. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
