She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy W. Mizell and Sarah Crosby Mizell; her husbands, Lonnie Giddens and J. D. Boone; her siblings, Roy (Mizell), Donald "Duck" Mizell, James Olen "Coon" Mizell and Beulah "Tookie" Adams; her sisters-in-law, Reba Mizell and Doris Mizell; and her sons-in-law, Kelly White, Sonny Dawson and Gordon Lee.
She is survived by: her son Gerald Giddens of Axson. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 38 Great-Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews.
