It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Jones of Avondale Estates, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Jones; her parents, Richard Barnes and Margaret Barnes; and her brother Frank Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Jones Kent (Mike) of Monroe, Frank Jones (Marifae) of Avondale Estates and David Jones (Joanna) of Ellijay; her sister Barbara Barnes Wilsher of St. Simons Island; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Margaret Kent, Alex, Carson and Logan Jones.
