It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katie Trocheck Abel of Avondale Estates, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Tom Trocheck and Kathy Hogan Trocheck of Avondale Estates; her husband Mark Richard Abel; her children, Molly Hogan Abel and John Griffin Abel of Avondale Estates; her brother Andrew Trocheck of Albany, GA; her parents-in-law, John R. and Jane Abel of Columbia, MO.; and her cousin Sarah Abigail Murry of Atlanta. She is also survived by relatives, most notably her sister.
Until Covid struck this cruel blow, she had boundless energy and heart for helping others.
