JoAnna Tatum Obituary
The passing of JoAnna Tatum of Avondale Estates, Georgia, born in Covington, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Lee Code and John Bernard Code; her husband W. C. Tatum (Pete); her stepsons, Marvin Tatum and David Tatum Sr.; her granddaughter Leslie Rae Kochensparger; her brothers, Jerome Code and James Nicholas Code; and her son-in-law Lance Carter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jackie Martin and Bill Code; her daughters, Connie Davis Moore (Tim) and Cathy Carter; and her stepson Jeff Tatum. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and five beloved nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (636 W Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030).
