He is survived by: his wife Jan Daniels; his children, Holley Jaakkola (Juha), Brooke Odom, Jim Holley "Trey" Daniels (Katy) and Haley Daniels; his brother Dean Daniels (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ava Jaakkola, Georgia Odom, Sophie Jaakola, Raelyn Daniels and Jax Daniels; and his nieces and nephews, Merritt Daniels McGowan (Brett), John Dean Daniels, Jr. and Tripp Bridges (Ramsey).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home (410 E Broad St, Camilla, GA 31730). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oakgrove Cemetery (17699 Morgan Rd NW, Arlington, GA 39813).
