He was predeceased by: his sister Javonne P. Thigpen. He is survived by: his spouse Jewel Coleman Pittman; his siblings, Vannie P. Black, Jimmy and Dewain Pittman (Donna); his children, Robert H. Carr (Christy), Gerald K. Carr, Daniel L. Carr and Tammy E. Carr; and his grandchildren, Danny Rogers III, Kristen Boone, Danielle Carr and Brooke Carr. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; a niece and nephew, and many, many friends.
