She was predeceased by: her parents, A. E. Justus and Lassie Justus of Austell, Georgia.; her husbands, Richard C. Blackburn and Harry E. Terry; and her grandson Jesse Eli Blackburn.

She is survived by: her children, Terrell Warren Blackburn, Virginia Darlene Etheridge and Richard C. Blackburn III (Ricky); and her brother A. E. Justus Jr. of Douglasville, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
