It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Eugene Tumey of Austell, Georgia, who passed away on March 15, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lawson Tumey and Empress Clio Tumey; his siblings, Irene Tumey Phillips, Bob Tumey, Della Tumey Conner and John Tumey; and his son Randy Tumey.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Tumey; his children, Rickey Tumey (Alma) of Snellville, Rhonda Higginbotham (Jim) of Powder Springs and Rodney Tumey (Wendy Worthan) of Austell; and his grandchildren, Alyssa (Chantrey), Abby, Ryan, Caleb (Diana), Quinn, Brielle and Matthew. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family and friends.
