He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Baker Hampton. He is survived by: his children, James Hampton of Douglasville and Linda Daniel of Carrollton; his sister-in-law Barbara Holman of Auburn, GA; his grandsons, Steve and David; his great grandchildren, Alysa, Alexis, Colt, Brayden and Breezy; his great great grandchildren, Sadie of Holden, J. J., Aiden and Raylee; and his brother J. C. Hampton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106).
