He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sanders and Ruth Sanders; his wife Wynelle Vick Sanders; and his siblings, Buck, Gary and Betty.
He is survived by: his sons, James Phillip Sanders (Julie) of Austell and Rayford Stuart Sanders (Ashley) of Hiram; his sisters, Pat Page (Lamar) of Douglasville and Martha Mullins of Blue Ridge; his grandchildren, Sara Trojanowski (Doug), Jonathan Sanders (Tiffany), Joshua Sanders (Kendell), Michael Sanders, David Sanders, Adam Sanders (Jordan), Elizabeth Sanders (Devin Burks) and Victoria Favero (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Leon, Sailor, Presley, Maddox Blaire, Seth, Gage, Jackson and Grayson.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church (561 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
