It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Frank Bowen of Austell, Georgia, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Hettie "Sharline" Bowen; his parents, Abe Bowen and Ada Bowen; his brother Earl Bowen; and his son Randall.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Bowen (Lisa) and Jeff Bowen (Lantia); his grandchildren, Patricia Mitchell (Scott), Neal Bowen, Randall Bowen (Kelli) and Derek Bowen; and his great grandchildren, Lauren Hackney (Maxwell), Devan Miller (Cody), Connor Willaford, Zachary Bowen, Katie Mitchell, Jordan Bowen, Emma Mitchell and Landen Bowen. He is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
