He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Baxter and Odareene Gray Baxter; and his spouse Chloie Mary Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Baxter Nicholson (John); his grandchildren, Patrick Kelley (Virginia) and Kimberly Underwood (Phillip); and his great grandchildren, Katie and Emily Underwood.
