It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Odell Homewood of Austell, Georgia, who passed away on November 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orin Kell and Nancy Leo Kell; her husband Thomas Edward Homewood; her siblings, Dorothy, Hazel, Floyd and Infant Brother Edwin; her son Terry Franklin Homewood; and her grandson Keith Couch.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Ellis (Jerry) of Kennesaw and Alan Homewood (Traci) of Acworth; and her grandchildren, Art, Stacy, Jeff, Jennifer, Jami, Alan, Jr., David and Mitzi. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many beloved extended family and friends.
