He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Louise Rose and Frederick Laird Vogel; and his brothers, Frederick Laird Vogel, Jr. and Keith Roger Vogel. He is survived by: his daughter Nikki Sweeney (Vogel); his grandchildren, Dylan, Ellie, Hannah, Rose Sweeney and Gabriel Smitherman; and his siblings, John, Glenn, Blaine, Harold Vogel and Trava Mayes.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
