He is survived by: his wife Joyce Chafin Jackson; and his daughters, Alison Chin (Kevin), Amy Howard (Christopher) and Angela Segal (Jeff). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
His career at Georgia Power as an Electrical Engineer spanned several decades, during which he made significant contributions to the company until his retirement.
