He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sanders and Elnora Sanders (Holloway); and his siblings, Juletta, Barbara and Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Willean Wilson of Austell, Georgia; his son David of Arlington, Texas; and his grandchildren, Courtney (Raymond) of Carrollton, Texas and Matthew (Kelli) of The Colony, Texas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; his cousins; and more friends.
