He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eve and Myrtle Green Fair; and his sister Margaret Eve Fair Wall. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Weigle Fair; his children, Pat Fair (Kelly), Bill Fair, Mary Fair Davis (Scott) and Charlie Fair (Allyson); and his grandchildren, Annie Fair, Shannon Mackay (J. T.), Rebecca Miley (Lathan), Daniel Fair, Morgan Davis, Charlie Davis and Charley Fair. He is also survived by four nieces.
