William A. Cashin Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William A. Cashin Jr. (Augusta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anthony Cashin, Sr. and Sarah Costello Mulherin; and his son William A. Cashin III. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sons, Gordon of Raleigh, NC, Chris (Judi) of Chapel Hill, NC and Jeff (Megan) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Creel, Chan, Larkin, Jude, Cecelia and Luke; and his brother Joseph E. Cashin (Camille) of Atlanta.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church (1420 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's Church Foundation (https://www.osvhub.com) or a favorite charity.
