He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nelle McNeely; his daughters, Deborah Salley (Larry) and Joy Farrer (Randall); his grandchildren, Gabbie Duvall (Matt), John William Salley (Melanie) and Chloe Farrer (Taylor); and his siblings, John McNeely, Jr. (Pat), Patricia Gordy and Terry McNeely. He was also cherished by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Warren Baptist Church (3203 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
Memorials may be made to the Hope Women's Center.
