She was predeceased by: her mother Willie Montgomery; and her brothers, Eugene Montgomery and Wayne Montgomery. She is survived by: her sons, Robert "Robby" Thompson, Jr. (Sherry) and Ricky Thompson (Wanda); her grandchildren, Tanner Thompson (Katie), Ret Thompson (Glorianne), Courtney Thompson, Haley Buck (Cody), Will Thompson, Summer Thompson and Sadie Thompson; and her siblings, Doyle Montgomery (Linda) and Marie Covington.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 1825 Kissingbower Road, Augusta, GA 30904.
