With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Beckworth of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Williams and AnnieBelle McDade Williams; her former husband Bill Elliott; her husband James Beckworth; her son William "Allen" Elliott; and her siblings, Howard Williams, Edna Griffin, Marie Johns and Ruby Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Kerry Beckworth and Johnny Beckworth (Vickie Beckworth); her daughter-in-law Kathy Elliott; her grandchildren, April Johnston (Michael Johnston), Nathan Beckworth, Steven O'Rourke and Katie Brown (Cody Brown); and her great grandchildren, Ava Johnston, Micah Johnston, Peyton Beckworth, Cohen Beckworth, Sutton Beckworth and Brady Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
