It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard G. Kimmel of Augusta, Georgia, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Kimmel and Joan Kimmel. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Strom Kimmel; his sister Sue K. Grubb; his sisters-in-law, Jacquelyn Iley (Brett) of Bogart, GA, Erika Brasco (Craig) of Marietta, GA and Beth Strom of Reno, NV; and his nieces and nephews, Kyndall Iley, Natalie Brasco, Tanner Iley and Nicklaus Brasco.
