With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Slaby Sr. (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard A. Slaby Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Otto Slaby and Mary Kahoun Slaby; his brother Charles Otto Slaby, Jr.; and his son Mathew Bryan Slaby (Linda Dutton Slaby). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Harison Slaby; his sons, Richard Allen Slaby, Jr. (Soule Wilkin Slaby) and Seth Douglas Slaby; and his grandchildren, Richard Allen Slaby III and Hamner Crane Slaby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Museum of History, RISE Augusta, Inc, or Saint Mary on The Hill Catholic Church.
