With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pat Blanchard (Augusta, Georgia), born in Appling, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Perry C. Blanchard and Preston K. Blanchard. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Banks Blanchard; his children, Mary Brannen Blanchard and Patrick G. Blanchard, Jr. (Gretchen); his grandsons, William Blanchard Rayburn (Will), John Banks Rayburn, Patrick G. Blanchard, III and Charles Jordan Blanchard (Charlie); and his brothers, J. Pierce Blanchard, Jr. (Deborah) and Philip B. (Phil). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Storey Chapel of First Baptist Church of Augusta (3500 Walton Way Ext, Augusta, GA 30909-1822). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following organizations: the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society, the National Stroke Association, or a Charity of one's choice.
