She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ernest J. Odom; her children, Angela Welch (Earl) and Ashley Odom (Shawn); her granddaughters, Lauren Welch Birch (Andrew), Hannah Welch, Ashton Drake (John), Andersen Odom and Addisen Odom; her brothers, Al Hardy (Jackie) and Joe Hardy (Camille); and her pet Windy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Storey Chapel at First Baptist Church (3500 Walton Way Ext, Augusta, GA 30909). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Westview Cemetery (2051 Division St, Augusta, GA 30904).
