It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Gates McGahee of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McGahee and Lucille McGahee. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Myhand McGahee; his children, Tim Curtis McGahee, Patrick Lyle McGahee (Carmen) and Sarah Ellen McGahee; his grandchildren, Preston, Meredith and Madeline; his brother Edwin; and his sister-in-law Claire Batchelor.
