It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Benefield (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Lee Benefield; her children, Dorothy Smiley Gibson (Robert), Kirby Smiley Bennett (Gary), Tony Smiley (Betty), David Smiley (Annie Rouse), Cedric Smiley (Marcella), Richard Smiley (Janie Jackson) and William Smiley (Teresa); her sister Estella Smith of Catherine Byrdsell; and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Smiley. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
