He is survived by: his spouse Jackie Welch; his children, Nicole Grand (Jonathan) and Andrew Saunders; his granddaughter Jada; his great-nephew John L. Welch, Jr. (Nikki); his great-nieces, Madi and Aubrey Welch; and his siblings-in-law, Sam Kelly and Joanne Dyson (Bobby).
