She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Kenneth Dodson; her parents, Thomas Berry and Nellie Berry; and her brothers, John Berry, Jim Berry, Tom Berry and Burke Berry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Gahman (Merv) and Janet Cartledge (David); her grandchildren, Katie Davis (Jeff), Anna Matthews (Zack), David Cartledge, Nicole Cartledge and Dylan Cartledge; her great grandchildren, Easton, Hudson, Yo Davis, Owen, Katy Jane and Henry Matthews; and her siblings, Bill Berry and Flo Mundy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
