She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles King and Marguerite King; her husband Stephen E. Swenson; and her brothers, Wayne King and James King.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Swenson Balducci (Paul), Simone Swenson Swann (Travis), Joshua Ephrem Swenson (Carolyn), Gabriel Joseph Swenson (Summer), Daniel Henry Swenson (Karina), Joanna Swenson Watwood (Jordan), Micah Dale Swenson and Zachary Stephen Swenson (Amy); her grandchildren, Ethan, Elliott, Charlie, Augie, Henry, Isabel, Jonah, Anna, Miles, Quinn, Gabi, Sol, Oliver, Lucy, Ezra, Emma Kay, Elijah, Eliana, Judah, John David, Levi, Benjamin, Gunnar, Elam, Isaac, Zoe and Hannah Joy; her grandmother Gaga; her siblings, Charlene, Kevin (Betsy), Bubba (Mary), Charlie (Dell), Gary and Bruce (Georgette); her sister-in-law Shirley Gallant; and also Karen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A wake was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity (720 Telfair St, Augusta, GA 30901). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Alleluia Cemetery (4763 Luckeys Bridge Rd, Dearing, GA 30808).
