We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2024, John Thomas Smith Jr. of Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his mother Rev. Gwendolyn B. Smith; and his siblings, Carol Smith, Sheila Mojume, Rachel Smith, Mark Smith, Nolan Smith, Stanley Smith and Clifford Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
