With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John McMahon (Augusta, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Robert John McMahon and Louise McNair McMahon; and his former wife Lisa H. McMahon. He is survived by: his wife Sue Seklecki-McMahon; his children, Jenny Simmons (Nelson), Holly Dawson (Brandon) and Andrew McMahon (Sally); his stepchildren, Christian Seklecki (Leigh), Summer Swenson (Gabriel), Martin Seklecki, Allison Benningfield (Scott), Mitchell Seklecki (Kristin), Chandler Seklecki, Kolbe Seklecki and John Seklecki; and his grandchildren, Audrey, Henry, Genevieve, Lillian, Abram, Rhett, Theodore, Sōl, Oliver, Katherine, Davis, Lucy, Ezra, Makenzie, Emelia, Emma Kay and Maris. He is also survived by family members, in addition to his wife.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity (720 Telfair St, Augusta, GA 30901). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
