With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Lee Johnikin (Augusta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie P. Johnikin and Lois Eva James Johnikin; and his children, Terry Lee Johnikin, Russell B. Johnikin and Patricia Louise Johnikin.
He is survived by: his grandson Brandon Johnikin (Emily); his stepgranddaughter Brittany Carroll; his sisters, Minnie "Sug" Grooms and Shirley J. Reynolds; his brother-in-law Charles C. Brigham (Janice); and his niece Susan Brigham.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Silvercrest Baptist Church Parking lot paving fund.
