He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cox-Harley; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Harley-Wilson; his son-in-law John Wilson; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Elizabeth Wilson and Jacob Colby Wilson (Riley); and his great grandchild Johnathan Paul Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the scholarship fund established by he and his wife in memory of their son, John Jacob Harley Jr at Augusta State University, The Wounded Warriors, The Paralyzed Veterans of America, The American Diabetes Association or The National Kidney Foundation.
