It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jesse Anderson in Augusta, Georgia, born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linnie Rose Bond (John) and Thomas Rawls (Mary Ellen); and his brothers, Willie Roy Bond, Robert Earl Bond and Donnie Bond.

He is survived by: his son Mark Simpson; his siblings, Donald Bond, Thomas Rawls Jr., Geo Rawls (Elethia), Annie Harrell, Shirley Bond, Sandra Rawls-Chapple, Lydia Rawls, Deborah Rawls and Doris Jones; and his close friend Karl Cain. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
