He was predeceased by: his father James Panknin Walker, Jr.; and his brother Calvin Lyle Walker. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Panknin Walker, Brandon Lewis Walker and Austin Cole Walker; his mother Linda L. Walker; his sister Carole Walker Beutel (Richard); and his niece Kirsten Beutel.
