She is survived by: her husband John Hills Jr.; her children, Lanier Gross (Carrie), John Hills III (Sabrina), Reginald Hills, Sharon Thompkins (Maurice), Pamela Tanksley and Sheila Page; and her sister Josephine Tanksley. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
