With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gladys Faye (Cox) Grimaud of Augusta, Georgia, born in Jasper, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, George W. Cox and Gladys Kelley Cox; her brother Ritter Cox; and her husband Joseph A. Grimaud, Jr.. She is survived by : her sons, David (Maureen), Gregory (Suzanne) and Keith (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Marilyn (Kaleb), Geoffrey (Natalie), Alana (Cory), Danica (Christian), Garrison, Sophie (Ian), Ava, Brady and Beatrice; her great grandchildren, Genevieve, Elizabeth, Rosalyn and Holland; and her sister Ricka Garies (Cox). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel (7600 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene (901 St Andrews Rd, Columbia, SC 29210). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
