He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Lowe Sheftall; and his parents, Mordecai Giffing Sheftall and Caroline Mercier Sheftall. He is survived by: his wife Louise Wimberly Kimsey Sheftall; his children, Dr. Mordecai George Sheftall (Keiko) of Hamamatsu, Japan and Amelia Wimberly Sheftall of Manhattan, NY; and his grandchildren, Levi Riku Sheftall, Benjamin Dan Sheftall and Hannah Louise Wilk.
