He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cox Poythress; his daughters, Patricia Dekle (David) and Pamela Griffin (Mark); his grandchildren, Caroline Knight (Jake), Audra Miller (Drew), Anna Dekle, Judson Dekle, Walker Dekle, Alise Griffin, Davis Griffin and Bennett Griffin; and his great grandchild Davidson Dekle.
