She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tidwell and Corinne Tidwell; her husband William L. Whatley (Pete); her brother Charles Jr.; her stepfather Lieutenant Colonel (John Carter); and her nephew Wade Tidwell.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. William L. Whatley, Jr. (Michelle), Charles E. Whatley (Lisa) and David N. Whatley (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ben (Liza), Joel (Jackie), Charles, Corinne, Mason, Reece and Neil; and her great grandchildren, Muni, Sawyer and Mazz.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Methodist Church (2367 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30904). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
