She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Ray Peterson; her parents, Harold Hanson and Kathleen Hanson; her siblings, Phyllis Campbell and Harold P. Hanson, Jr.; her grandson Christopher Jones; and her nephew Michael Phillip Hanson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pineview Baptist Church (119 Pleasant Home Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens (4501 Wrightsboro Rd, Grovetown, GA 30813).
