She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Percy Elwood Marcum; her son Mark "Chris" Marcum, Sr.; her grandchildren, Erica Jordan (Nick), Christina Whitfield (John) and Mark Marcum, Jr. (Christine); her great grandchildren, Nylah Marcum, Brynsley Marcum, Jayden Whitfield, Elijah Whitfield and Micah Whitfield; her sister Betty Young; and her nephew Alan Young. She was also cherished by "Grammy" by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
